Li'wuan's Work
Millennium Eye
This project was a 3-D model made in Maya. It is made using a sphere and the main part of the eye piece along with a gold texture. It is one of the simpler models created so there isn’t much to it to model the finished design. There is also a skydome lights surrounding it to give it a shiny look depending on the angle.
Millennium Key
This is one of the simpler models crated because there were less shapes involved. The only ones that were used were a torus that was made thinner and cut near the bottom but not halfway and cubes and cylinders. The cubes and cylinders were mainly resized to create the parts of the key but there were small changes like one cube was bent at the half point and the cylinder at the end had its vertexes pulled together to give it a smooth key shape. Like its real-life model, it has a gold texture and a skydome light for its shine.
Millennium Puzzle
This was a model created with multiple shapes that include a pyramid, a torus, and two cylinders. The pyramid was extruded on the top and pulled up and the torus was cut in half and put on the top of the extruded part. The two pipes were bent and put under the eye piece for the added detail that is on the real-life item. There is also the gold texture and a skydome light to give it the reflective and shiny look.
Millennium Ring
This model had a lot of shapes used to create it. There were lots of torus, cylinders, and cones because this model has many parts and details attached to it. A pyramid was also used and flattened for the center piece of the model and cylinders were used for the bottom part of the center eye. A pipe was also used for the circle around the flattened pyramid and every other shape was put in its place along with the gold texture and skydome light for light and shine.
