Regardless of where you live, SAU offers a variety of dining options to accommodate your needs.
The plans available are based on a combination of the amount of access for meals a student has to the Blue and Gold Cafe (ie. unlimited access or “x” amount of meals), and a declining balance.
Declining balance (DB) dollars work on the same principle as bank debit cards. Each time you make a food purchase with your DB card, the total cost of your food purchase is subtracted from the dollar balance in your account. DB dollars carry over from the fall to the spring semester.

|Platinum Total Access

The following are options available for faculty and staff:
Can I treat a friend by using two “meals” in a meal period?
You are the only person allowed to use your “meals” and you can only use one meal per meal period. If you would like to treat a friend, you may pay for their meal using your Declining Balance Dollars.
Can I change my dining plan?
Absolutely! We want you to have the best plan for you. You can adjust your dining membership during the first two weeks of the fall and/or spring semesters. Simply go to the Business Office in the Overstreet building and fill out a dining plan change form.
If I don’t use all my meals in one week, do they carry over to the following week?
Meals are good for a one week period. They don’t carry over from one week to next. It’s key to select the best plan for your schedule and your dining styles so you get the max from your dining membership.
What do I do when my Declining Balance runs low?
Reload! If you run low, you can add to your account using cash, check, money order or credit card. Simply go to the ARAMARK Dining Office (located in the Reynolds Center) to make your payment.
