Birmingham-Pokorny to speak at SAU’s Fall Commencement
MAGNOLIA, Ark. — The Southern Arkansas University fall commencement ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Friday, December 14, at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center.
Dr. Elba Birmingham-Pokorny, SAU’s 2006-07 Honor Professor, will provide the commencement address. She has been at SAU since 1990. She is a professor of Spanish and is advisor of the Spanish Club

MAGNOLIA, Ark.— Almost 200 books and $150 in craft supplies were donated by members of Sigma Tau Delta to the children’s library at Magnolia Housing Authority Tuesday afternoon.
