Dr. Roger Guevara began his teaching career as a water safety instructor and lifeguard at his local swimming pool.
“I saw the impact I had at the swimming pool, and I thought why not in the classroom,” he said. “The children responded so well, I couldn’t help but pursue a teaching career.”
