Southern Arkansas University is set to host a series of engaging workshops this April, offering practical insights into the world of artificial intelligence (AI). These sessions, designed for various audiences, will equip participants with the tools to integrate AI into their daily routines, business operations, and advanced technical applications.
The workshops will occur on April 10, 17, and 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Blanchard Hall 110 on SAU’s campus. Each session is $10, with a discounted rate of $25 for all three.
Session One – Thursday, April 10:
- AI for Everyday Life – How to Use Generative AI to Save Time, Work Smarter, and Stay Informed

Session Three – Thursday, April 24:
- Mastering Prompt Engineering & LLMs – Unlocking the Power of AI-Driven Text Generation
- Instructor: Dr. Ahmad Al-Shami
- Overview: A hands-on workshop for AI enthusiasts and professionals looking to harness the full potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) through effective prompt engineering techniques.
