Dr. Rodney L. Griffin’s remarkable medical career has been characterized by dedication and excellence. Dr. Griffin attended Southern State College from 1962 to 1965, whereafter he earned his bachelor of science in pharmacy from the University of Arkansas Pharmacy School. Dr. Griffin went on to earn his MD from the University of Arkansas School of Medicine. His academic pursuits laid the foundation for a successful and impactful career in the field of medicine.
Dr. Griffin’s commitment to the medical profession extends beyond clinical practice, as he has actively served on various boards, contributing his expertise to shaping the healthcare landscape. His invaluable insights and leadership have left an indelible mark on the institutions with which he has been associated.
Since 1980, Dr. Griffin has played a vital role at Southern Arkansas University, serving as the consulting physician for University Health Services. His enduring dedication to the University community has not only provided essential medical guidance but has also fostered a culture of health and well-being among students, faculty, and staff.
