JB and the Moonshine Band will headline the annual Free Fall Concert at Southern Arkansas University on Thursday, October 24, at the SAU Alumni Center. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. Admission is free for everyone.
The band’s most recent album was voted among the Top 5 Country albums of 2012. The band has sold more than 40,000 albums and consistently charted in the Top 30 Billboard Soundscan Country chart in 2012. It has been nominated for six Texas Regional Radio awards and was the CMT Artist of the Month in March 2013. Influenced by everyone from Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash, to Metallica and hip-hop legend Tupac, JB and the Moonshine Band play a gritty mix of contemporary country and Texas twang, with a little rock and roll thrown in for good measure.
