Southern Arkansas University is excited to announce that its online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has been ranked among the best in the United States, according to EDsmart.org, a nationally-recognized publisher of college resources.
“This is another wonderful recognition for our MBA program,” said Dr. Trey Berry, president of SAU. The MBA is offered by the Rankin College of Business and is fully accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting body for colleges and schools of business.
EDsmart’s 2019 ranking of the Best Online MBA Programs is the most comprehensive to date. It includes only fully accredited schools. Rankings are based primarily on affordability, while also considering graduation and retention rates. SAU is the only university in Arkansas to have been included in the 2019 rankings.
“It is a blessing to work with students at a University with this great reputation for accreditation and affordability, and to be recognized by EDsmart,” said Dr. Christie Hough, MBA director and associate director of management.
“As online college courses become more prevalent, it is important to recognize the colleges and universities that go above and beyond,” said Tyson Stevens, managing editor of EDsmart. “Our goal is to highlight these schools and their commitment to higher education.”
The program can be completed online, face-to-face, or as a hybrid. Whether it’s completed in person or online, students receive the same one-on-one attention from the same qualified instructors. SAU’s online MBA features concentrations in General Business, Agriculture Business, Social Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain Management. The Rankin College of Business is one of the most affordable AACSB accredited business schools.
