The SAU Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry congratulates four students who have been offered admission to Pharmacy School at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
“These students continue a long tradition of successful pharmacists who completed their undergraduate training at Southern Arkansas University,” said Dr. Scott White, associate professor of chemistry. “We congratulate them on their success.”
The students are: Joshua Russette, a junior biochemistry major from Fouke, Arkansas; Victoria Hardin, a senior biochemistry major from Wake Village, Texas; Zack Hazeslip, a junior biochemistry major from Cabot, Arkansas, and Rebecca Webb, a sophomore biochemistry major from Foreman, Arkansas.
They will begin the Pharmacy program at UAMS in August 2020.
SAU’s Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry consists of seven dedicated faculty members who have a strong reputation for offering quality instruction and outstanding student-advising to help students succeed. Faculty also supervise the Natural Resource Research Center (NRRC) and the STEM Center for K-12 Education.
