Registration for Spring 2017 classes at Southern Arkansas University will be Monday, Jan. 9 and Tuesday, Jan. 10, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Jennifer Rowsam, associate dean for Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning, said the registration process for undergraduate and returning students begins at the Admissions Office, Overstreet Hall 207. From there, entering students will be directed to the Advising Center, Overstreet Hall 238.
Graduate students are encouraged to register online or to see their advisors in Nelson Hall 226.
Students will either be assigned to a professional advisor through the Advising Center, or they can meet with faculty advisors from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Advising is offered at the Rankin College of Business (Business 343); College of Education (Cross 117); College of Liberal & Performing Arts (Nelson 123), and College of Science and Engineering (Science 107B).
After securing a class schedule, students can then proceed to the Donald W. Reynolds Campus & Community Center, Grand Hall, where financial aid and student accounts will be available, Rowsam said.
Book cards can be obtained in the main hallway of Reynolds and textbooks can be purchased at the bookstore in Reynolds. The bookstore will be open extended hours, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., through Friday, Jan. 13.
Mulerider Roundup Orientation will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Foundation Hall. Parking permits will be available at the cashier’s window in Overstreet Hall, and payment arrangements can also be made at the cashier’s window. Student IDs (schedule required) will be available at Dolph Camp 119.
