An inaugural Sweetheart Pageant, open to girls newborn to 12 years, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on February 14, 2015, at SAU’s Harton Theatre.
The fee is $35 for those who register by February 2, and $45 for registrants from Feb. 3 up to the day of the pageant. To compete in the photogenic category, there is also a fee of $5. Contact Anne Marie Sands at 870-235-5084 or annesands@saumag.edu to register or for more information.
The Miss SAU Pageant will be the night before, on Feb. 13, so the newly crowned Miss SAU 2015 will make her first official appearance at the Sweetheart Pageant.
The Sweetheart Pageant is being hosted by the Miss SAU Scholarship Pageant Assoc., and will raise funds to help Miss SAU 2015 compete at Miss Arkansas this summer.
