Following on the success of the inaugural Mulerider Kids College (MKC) last summer, plans are already underway for the 2016 MKC and proposals can now be submitted online for anyone interested in teaching a class next summer.
The 2016 MKC is schedule for 8 a.m. – noon from June 27-30. Visit http://web.saumag.edu/kids-college to submit a proposal for a class or for more information. Deadline for proposal submissions is January 15. MKC also depends on help from volunteers, and anyone interested can RSVP on this site as well.
MKC organizers at SAU hope again to offer several unique classes for youth entering into the following grade categories: first-second, third-fourth, and fifth-sixth. Popular classes last summer attracted more than 150 students to the SAU campus. These classes were taught by SAU faculty, staff, and area teachers, and included “Kids Can Grill Too,” “Agtivities and Rodeo,” “Planet Pops and Aliens,” “Construction Challenges,” and “Unsolved Mysteries.”
