Southern Arkansas University Student Activities and Cheerleaders are sponsoring a kick off Friday, Sept. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. at the SAU Welcome Center for the Mulerider Football Team. The community is invited to join the SAU family to line up along the Farm Road to cheer on our team as they leave to battle Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Okla. Saturday.
A banner contest for SAU student organizations is scheduled and there will also be contests and prizes given by the Student Activities Board. Pizza will be provided by Domino’s Pizza and Aramark is providing drinks. The SAU Cheerleaders and the band will hold a pep rally and get the send-off fired up. Everyone is invited to join in the event and asked to sport Mulerider colors, if possible.
