Ronald T. LeMay, an SAU alumnus who is the managing director of OpenAir Equity Partners and the former CEO of Sprint’s wireless division, will share his executive experiences and insights during a lecture at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22.
The lecture will take place in the Foundation Hall of the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center and is sponsored by the SAU Foundation and the SAU College of Business. It is free and open to the public.
LeMay is a pioneer and respected leader in the wireless industry. Prior to co-founding OpenAir, he spent many years in senior leadership roles with AT&T, Sprint, and Southwestern Bell. Having worked in an environment known for innovation and emerging technologies, he is eminently qualified to recognize innovation and to guide fledgling companies into successfully applying technology in the marketplace.
He currently serves on the boards of Allstate, Imation, GoGo In-flight Internet, eRecyclingCorps, Zave Networks and MachineryLink.
A native of Arkansas, LeMay attended Southern Arkansas University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree, and the University of Arkansas School of Law. Along with his wife, Cindy, he resides in Kansas City.
