Southern Arkansas University’s Performing Arts Series will present the Rockefeller String Quartet, pianist Louis Menendez, violinist Geoffrey Robson, violist Tatiana Kotcherguina and cellist David Gerstein in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, in Oliver Recital Hall in Dolph Camp Hall on the SAU campus.
The string performers are all members of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and Louis Menendez is an acclaimed pianist, conductor and vocal coach from New York currently residing in Hot Springs. The featured selections include Haydn’s String Quartet No. 63 in B-flat Major, (“Sunrise”) and Dvorak’s Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 87.
The concert is free and open to the public.
