MAGNOLIA – Students and community members are invited to join in on an exciting international adventure as the College of Education at Southern Arkansas University hosts a tour of China (Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong).
The trip is planned for August 8-19, and will be led by Dr. Carla Bryant, assistant professor of education. Course credit will be available for those who are interested.
During the guided tour, the group will see the Great Wall of China, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square in Beijing, the Shanghai World Financial Tower and Shanghai Acrobats, among other attractions. Additionally, participants will spend two days in Hong Kong to learn about the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and other cultural items. The study tour focuses on business, education, and culture. In addition to local tour guides, Bryant will bring valuable information to the group as an experienced traveler and educator.
