The Heritage Singers and Chamber Singers of Southern Arkansas University will present their fall/winter concert titled, “Stori,” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, at First Baptist Church, 318 E. Main Street, Magnolia.
The concert will feature wide variety of selections telling both sacred and secular accounts of the Christmas story. Among the pieces on the program are a Zimbabwe greeting, a Norwegian lullaby, and standards such as “The Little Drummer Boy.” Attendees will also hear a slightly different version of “The 12 Days of Christmas.”
Percussion instruments, solos, and a new choral suite from the animated version of Dr. Seuss’s, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” will round out the evening of Christmas music.
Admission is free, and the public is invited.
