MAGNOLIA – Mulerider fans across southwest Arkansas will once again be able to listen to football broadcasts on the radio in 2011 as the Mulerider Sports Network returns for its second season. Games will be broadcast on six radio stations.
“The Mulerider Sports Network will provide an excellent opportunity to promote Southern Arkansas University and our NCAA Division II athletic programs across southwest Arkansas,” said SAU President Dr. David Rankin. “We have many alumni and friends throughout the coverage area, and this gives us an additional avenue to connect with them while we continue to grow our fan base.”
The flagship station of the Mulerider Sports Network is KVMZ-FM (99.1) in Magnolia which has been associated with Mulerider athletic broadcasts for more than 40 years. Dan Gregory will return for his 30th season as voice of the Muleriders.
