MAGNOLIA— The Employment Resource Center at Southern Arkansas University will sponsor its annual Career Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27 in the Grand Hall of the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center.
Representatives from business and industry, government, military and graduate schools will be available to provide information on career opportunities. Students of all classifications and alumni are encouraged to attend and bring several copies of resumes to distribute. Participants may also register for door prizes at the event.
Employers will be looking for part-time and full-time workers, as well as those interested in summer jobs or internships. “Our career day is a great way for students to network and look for information on jobs of all types. Students, especially those nearing graduation, can find out details and get specifics on careers that they might not be able to get elsewhere,” said Wilma Williams, director of the SAU Employment Resource Center.
