Southern Arkansas University’s Performing Arts Series to present musicians from the Arkansas Symphony
MAGNOLIA, Ark. — Southern Arkansas University’s Performing Arts Series will present musicians from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra in concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the First United Methodist Church. Featured performers will include the Rockefeller String Quartet, harpist Elisabeth Chardonet, and double bassist John Dahlstrand. The program will include Brahms’ String Quartet in B-flat, Op. 67, Caplet’s Fantastic Tale after Poe’s “Mask of the Red Death,” Bottesini’s Two Pieces for Bass and String Quartet and two works by Ravel.
The concert is free an open to the public.
