MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The International Student Services at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, will sponsor an “International Education Week” program from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Grand Hall of the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center on the University campus.
Each year in November, the U. S. government designates a week called International Education Week, which is celebrated at colleges and universities throughout the United States.
The International Office at SAU will present a special program that highlights the international diversity on the SAU campus. There will be international exhibits and artifacts to view, foods from various countries to sample, and presentations to enjoy. From noon to 1 p.m., David Wingfield, a professor in the English & Foreign Languages and Honors College, will make a presentation about his recent trip to Russia.
