MAGNOLIA, Ark. –The Employment Resource Center at Southern Arkansas University will sponsor its annual Health Professions Career Day from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the Grand Hall of the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center.
Representatives from various health organizations will be available to speak with students about current and future career opportunities in health-related fields. SAU students and alumni are encouraged to bring multiple copies of resumes and register for door prizes at the event.
Participating organizations include Christus St. Michael Health System of Texarkana, Texas; Henderson State University Educational Opportunity Center of Arkadelphia, Ark.; Magnolia Healthcare and Serenity Hospice of Magnolia, Ark.; Ouachita Nursing and Rehab Center of Camden, Ark.; Overton Brooks V.A. Med Center and Willis-Knighton Health System of Shreveport, La.; and Arkansas Department of Health, U.S. Army Health Care Recruiting, and U.S. Navy Officer Programs of Little Rock, and others.
