The Arkansas Archeological Society will present a lecture discussing upcoming archeological excavations near Hot Springs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, in room 104 of the Bruce Center located on the campus of Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia.
Dr. Mary Beth Trubitt, of Henderson State University and the Arkansas Archeological Survey, will talk about new archeological research underway to investigate stone tool production and exchange by people living in the Hot Springs area between 4000-1000 B.C.
Participants will learn how they can be a part of an excavation this summer, June 9-24.
