Seminar for becoming a notary set for July 19
ASHDOWN—-The Arkansas Secretary of State’s office is providing a seminar on
becoming a notary from 10 a.m. to noon on July 19 at Cossatot Community College.
The seminar, which is $10, will include speakers from the office of Arkansas Secretary of State Charlie Daniels.
Notaries verify signatures on legal and business documents to deter fraud and ensure proper execution of these documents. Included topics of the seminar will be making it through the application process, understanding issues facing notaries today and outlining best practices and procedures for all notary publics.
Co-sponsors of the seminar include Daniels’ office, Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas’ Spotlight Business Accelerator for Entrepreneurs (SBAE) and the Little River Chamber of Commerce.
