The College of Liberal and Performing Arts and the Department of Music at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, will present its spring choral concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at the First United Methodist Church.
Dr. Allen Clements, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities, will serve as conductor at the concert that will feature the Heritage and Chamber singers. Judy Barham will be the accompanist.
Each group will perform seven to eight pieces during the concert.
The Heritage Singers is a group of 40 to 60 vocalists which concentrates on the preparation of a wide variety of discriminate choral literature. The Chamber Singers is an ensemble of 18 to 24 singers which focuses on chamber literature in a variety of styles.
The concert is free and open to the public.
