The artistic works of Magnolia High School students will be on display through March 2 in the Rosemary Rhea Regional Arts in Education Center and Gallery on the campus of Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia.
The exhibition, “Art Potpourri,” will open with a reception to honor art instructor Laurie Hicks and her 33 art students from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9. It will include a variety of two dimensional works and sculptures.
The public is invited to attend the reception and the on-going exhibition.
Student artists include Joseph Amstutz, Janey Becnel, Vera Baumann, Krystal Carvey, Terryon Desso, Ashley Easter, Autumn Garner, Amy Gass, Joedan Hardy, Melissa Heard, Holly Hebert, Stewart Hennessy, Javia Jacobs, Lauren Johnson, Kemyasha Jones, Bonnie Keith, Alyssa Manning, Amanda Miller, Vivian Mooney, Sheena Moore, Delana Murphy, Seth Otwell, Bridget Paschal, Jeff Pelt, Hannah Pletcher, Jonathan Rickert, Jaime Sanders, Chelsea Spurlock, Chelsea Spurlock, Brent Wallace, Danielle Watson, Lisa Wilkerson, DeAngelo Williams, and Kristy Wilson.
The Rosemary Rhea Regional Arts in Education Center and Gallery is located in the Teaching/Learning Center on the first floor of Magale Library. The Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
