Frank Byers, a junior theatre major from Waldo, will come face to face with Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson in October as he tries to sing his way to Hollywood on American Idol.

SAU will be well represented in Memphis to support Frank. The University will send the cheerleaders, the mascot and rider, five band members, the tunnel, and fog machine.

The Alumni Association will keep everyone posted on Frank’s progress.
