
Wood’s exhibition shows the process that she took from the preliminary sketches to the cut paper and fabric illustrations in her book “Now Catlin Can:A donated organ helps a child get well.”
The book is based on a true story of a child whose life was transformed after receiving a kidney from a teen in 2002
Wood received recognition from the National Museum of Women in the Arts for her 2001 book, “The Goat Woman of Smackover: An Arkansas Legend.”
