The Office of continuing Education at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, will offer a guitar course from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 4-6.
This course is designed for first-time players as well as the more experienced pickers. Beginners start on basics while picking techniques can be demonstrated simultaneously for advanced students. It covers everything anyone needs to know to play guitar. Reading music is not required. The class is intended for ages 16 through adult.
The cost of the class is $75, and it will be led by Sherrill Kendall.
