Southern Arkansas University, in partnership with the city of Magnolia and Columbia County, has announced the fourth annual Blue & Gold Day on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on the Magnolia Square. The Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University will host a special dinner honoring long-time accounting professor Dr. Terrye Stinson. SAU saxophone student broadens his horizons, represents Arkansas with performance in Croatia
Benjamin Facundo, a senior at Southern Arkansas University, recently participated in the World Saxophone Congress in Zagreb, Croatia. Facundo performed with the Arkansas Saxophones Choir, an ensemble comprised of professionals, teachers and students of the saxophone. The La Feria, Texas native is attending SAU on a full band scholarship, majoring in music education.
