Passenger Rules and Requirements

The goal of Mulerider Express is to provide the student of Southern Arkansas University with a safe, reliable, and comfortable transit option.  To help us accomplish this, Mulerider Express requires riders to follow the following rules:

1. 1. All passengers must be students, faculty, staff, or Official University guest of Southern Arkansas University.  ID may be requested to validate this information.
   2. Must be fully dressed and wearing shoes at all times.
   3. Refrain from eating or drinking while on the van and have any food or drinks contained in spill proof containers
   4. Use headphones for all electronic and audio devices, at a level that is not distracting to the other passengers and/or the driver
   5. Keep feet off the seats.
   6. Must be in a seat.  Sitting in the floor or aisle is not acceptable.
   7. Yield front or sliding door seat to passenger with special needs at the drivers request.
   8. Only carry the number of bags/packages/items that can be removed from the van in one trip.
   9. The following items are not prohibited in the van:
      1. Pets or emotional support animals.  Only service animals will be allowed.
      2. Gas or other flammable liquids, car batteries, fireworks, guns, tires, or any object that is potentially dangerous or too large to fit in the cargo area. (Remember that multiple people can be using this service at one time so the whole storage area may not be available)
      3. NO SMOKING, VAPING, or use of E-Cigarette    .

Failure to comply with these guidelines could result in the driver denying access.
