Dr. Connie Wilson received her bachelor’s degree in English education and master’s degree in Secondary Education from Southern Arkansas University. She received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Louisiana Tech University. Currently, Connie is an Assistant Professor and directs the Educational Administration and Supervision program. Before coming to SAU, she worked in Louisiana as an English teacher and Assistant Principal. She is a past recipient of the Spirit of SAU Award; SAU Student Affairs Director’s Choice Award; Broadmoor Middle Laboratory School Teacher of the Year in Shreveport, Louisiana; Cope Middle School Teacher of the Year in Bossier City, Louisiana; Bossier Parish Middle School Teacher of the Year in Bossier Parish; National Council of Teachers of English Leadership Development Award; and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle Sponsor of the Year. She has publications in Science and Children Journal and READ: Reading, Exploration, and Discovery.
