Dr. Walker grew up in Southwest Arkansas and is excited to work with students in Southern Arkansas. He received his BS in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas. His MS and PhD in Biomedical Sciences came from Colorado State University. He has a passion for beef cattle production and specializes in bovine assisted reproductive techniques. He has worked in the beef cattle industry since graduation with his doctorate in Reproductive Physiology. His areas of reproductive focus are: bovine artificial insemination, embryo transfer, in vivo-embryo production, and in vitro-embryo production. He has managed multiple seedstock operations and trained personnel in both laboratory and reproductive technicians.
