Dr. Md Karim is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and the Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Southern Arkansas University. He also serves as the Director of the Computer Science graduate program. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and began his career as a cybersecurity researcher at the Center for Secure Cyberspace at the Louisiana Tech University. Dr. Karim worked on various cybersecurity projects sponsored by DARPA, AFOSR and AFRL, and published numerous papers and book chapters on cybersecurity. His research interests include active authentication, malware analysis, and brainwave security.
