Building/Office: Science (SCI) 106C Slot Number: 14Kjärstin Carlson-Drexler is an Instructor of Biology and a plant ecologist. She earned her B.A. in Biology with an Environmental Science concentration from Grinnell College (2002), and her M.S. in Biology (2012) from The College of William and Mary. Her research focused on the effects of hurricane damage on forest composition and structure. She has also worked as a lab technician in a sunflower ecology lab at the University of Nebraska, as well as in an ornithology lab at The College of William and Mary before she began teaching at SAU in 2012. Her interests focus primarily on botany, ornithology, and disturbance ecology. Ms. Carlson-Drexler teaches Botany, Systematic Botany, Ornithology, and Principles of Biology labs.
