Magale Library at Southern Arkansas University is sponsoring a Forgive and Forget Canned Food drive Nov. 19 – Dec. 14.
The library will waive overdue library fines for users with outstanding library fines, if patrons donate canned food items, which will go to the SIFE food pantry on campus.
Library staff will collect the items in the library and fines will be waived for our campus and community members (non-university) as they bring the canned items in and alert the staff of the overdue status of the book(s).
