Students required to take this exam for entrance to programs at SAU must take the exam at one of the locations that offer the test and have their scores sent to SAU.<\/p>\n The General Test yields separate scores for verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing related to success at the graduate level. The GRE General Test is an adaptive computer-based test (CBT). A paper-pencil version of the test is also offered.<\/p>\n The computer-based GRE is an adaptive test, which means that the next question the examinee is presented with is based on the answer to the previous question.
