Charlie is a senior Financial Analysis major from Vilonia, Arkansas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4588f3f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4588f3f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-d5989e3\" data-id=\"d5989e3\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e203ec elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4e203ec\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><strong>What are your favorite hobbies?<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u201cI enjoy basketball, yoga, CrossFit, fishing, hiking, and antiquing.\u201d<\/p><h3><strong>What made you choose SAU?<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u201cI chose SAU because they offered me a basketball scholarship and they have an excellent business school. SAU is a perfectly sized school. It\u2019s not too big, and it&#8217;s not too small. Coming from a small town, Magnolia was a perfect fit for me. It reminded me a lot of my home with the small-town atmosphere that it has. That is what made SAU an easy choice over other schools.\u201d<\/p><h3><strong>What on-campus organizations are you involved in?<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u201cBeta Gamma Sigma, the college of business honor society, and SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council).\u201d<\/p><h3><strong>What is your favorite thing about SAU?<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u201cI love the atmosphere. The students on campus really connect and get to know one another. You will always see someone you know, no matter where you are on campus. The faculty are extremely friendly and are always going that extra mile to help you and to show they truly want you to succeed.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element Greece?<\/strong><\/h3><p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>It was awesome. On the trip, we were required to visit three local businesses. \u00a0One business I really enjoyed was Apivita. Apivita makes skincare products from things found in beehives. We also visited an olive oil manufacturer and an olive oil soap manufacturer. We visited Athens and went to the ancient temples there. My favorite thing I did in Greece was kayak around some of the islands in the Aegean Sea. The culture was amazing. I really enjoyed the food, especially the gyros.\u201d<\/p><h3><strong>How was your internship with Bodcaw Bank?<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u201cMy internship with Bodcaw Bank was an excellent learning experience. I really enjoyed it, and it was extremely beneficial to me. My primary duty was consumer\/commercial loan review while working on individual projects and my \u201cspecial\u201d project. I worked alongside SAUs international student department to help create an international student checking account.\u201d<\/p><h3><strong>What is it like being a student-athlete?<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u201cIt can be difficult at times; however, I would never change anything. As a student-athlete you have to have excellent time management skills. You have to balance your social life, whatever sport you play, and academics all at the same time.
