{"id":11,"date":"2008-02-19T09:24:40","date_gmt":"2008-02-19T15:24:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/registrar.southernarkansasuniversity.info\/changedropwithdraw-forms\/"},"modified":"2023-03-10T13:19:25","modified_gmt":"2023-03-10T19:19:25","slug":"drops","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/registrar\/drops\/","title":{"rendered":"Dropping and Withdrawing"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Dropping Classes<\/h3>\n<p>Students may drop classes as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During the registration period (usually through the first week of classes each semester), students should contact their advisor or use the schedule change feature on <a href=\"https:\/\/mysau.saumag.edu\/ics\">CampusConnect <\/a>if they have web registration privileges enabled.<\/li>\n<li>After the registration period has ended, graduate students and upper-class undergraduates can use our <a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/registrar\/files\/2021\/07\/How-to-Drop-a-Class.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">step-by-step guide<\/a> to submit an online drop form on <a href=\"https:\/\/mysau.saumag.edu\/ics\">CampusConnect<\/a> or contact their advisor to complete the drop form on their behalf. Freshmen and other Advising Center advisees should visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/advising\/\">Advising Center<\/a> in Overstreet Hall Room 238 or contact 870-235-5175 or\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:sw-advising@saumag.edu\">sw-advising@saumag.edu<\/a> to begin the course drop process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a $10.00 add\/drop fee per form processed. <strong>Failure to properly drop a course may result in a grade of &#8220;F&#8221; or &#8220;WF&#8221;<\/strong> (which is computed in the GPA as an &#8220;F&#8221;).<\/p>\n<h3>Withdrawing From University<\/h3>\n<p>Students can either use our <a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/registrar\/files\/2021\/07\/How-to-Withdraw.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">step-by-step guide<\/a> to submit an online withdrawal request in <a href=\"https:\/\/mysau.saumag.edu\/ics\">CampusConnect<\/a>, or go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/students\/studentlife\/\">Office of Student Life<\/a> in Reynolds Center 101 to request a paper withdrawal form (&#8220;blue card&#8221;).
