What is Leadership Academy?<\/h2>

Leadership Academy is a 48-hour leadership experience designed to enhance your career at SAU. Southern Arkansas University is committed to providing students with opportunities to become involved with the campus and the community.<\/p>

Leadership Academy offers you the opportunity to begin this involvement and to continue your high school success into college life and beyond.<\/p>

At Leadership Academy you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with campus leaders, to explore the inner workings of university organizations, to improve your time management and team building skills, participate in ropes and leadership training courses, and tap into your leadership potential.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Who can attend Leadership Academy?<\/h2>

Leadership Academy is limited to a select number of entering freshmen students. Selection is based on your participation in school and community activities.<\/p>

How much does it cost?<\/h2>

A $150.00 participant fee is the only expense, which will be added directly to your SAU student account. A $50 charge for “No-Shows” and registration withdrawal requested after July 1 may also be applied to your SAU student account.<\/p>

What is included?<\/h2>

Southern Arkansas University will furnish meals, lodging, educational materials, a group picture, entertainment, an\u00a0 Academy T-shirt, and lots of fun!<\/p>

When?<\/h2>

SAU Leadership Academy 2026 will be held on July 17th-19th, 2026.<\/p>
