Southern Arkansas University Board of Trustees met today to discuss personnel changes during the transition phase of the SAU presidential position following the resignation of Dr. Trey Berry.<\/p>\n
After calling the meeting to order, board members immediately went into executive session.\u00a0 Upon return from the session, Nate Evers made the motion to request a proposal from a search firm to hire SAU\u2019s next president.\u00a0 Monty Harrington seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion passed unanimously.\u00a0 Erica Woods, board chair, noted that no further action would be taken at this time and thanked everyone for their attendance.\u00a0 The meeting was adjourned.<\/p>\n
