<\/a>Students on the campus of Southern Arkansas University.<\/p><\/div>\n
SAU continues to take precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The University has taken steps to reduce the potential of students traveling or gathering in large groups and spreading the virus. The University will have more single-day breaks during the semester as opposed to the traditional week-long Spring Break. Due to the reduced number of days students will have out, the term will end earlier than normal with spring commencement set for April 30.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur students have done an amazing job of following protocols we have in place. We don\u2019t want to do anything to hinder that and put our students at risk,\u201d said Dr. Trey Berry, SAU\u2019s president.<\/p>\n
All faculty, staff, students and visitors are required to wear an appropriate face covering while inside campus facilities where six feet social distancing may not always be possible. Face covering use is not a substitute for social distancing.<\/p>\n

January 18 \u2013 Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday \u2013 no class<\/p>\n
March 5 \u2013 Virtual class day<\/p>\n
April 2 \u2013 No class<\/p>\n
April 29 \u2013 End of semester<\/p>\n
