Carey Baker, dean of students, said the bikes can be reserved at no charge to students via an app called Social Bikes, which can be downloaded to smartphones.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2318.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6620\" src=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2318-300x211.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2318-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2318-768x539.jpg 768w, https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2318-600x421.jpg 600w, https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2318.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Baker said students can ride any bike in the system for free for the first two hours of use, with the student\u2019s credit card charged $2 per hour for each additional hour. There are no fees charged to students to reserve a bike through the app. The bikes themselves are beautifully-branded, well-constructed, and offer a smooth, quiet ride.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can ride from hub to hub and incur no cost,\u201d Baker said. \u201cIf you can keep it to two hours, you can ride across all across Magnolia for free.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2290.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6621\" src=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2290-300x185.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2290-300x185.jpg 300w, https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2290-768x474.jpg 768w, https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2290-600x371.jpg 600w, https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2018\/01\/Mule20Rides20launch20Berry20Nelson20Baker20-20SP1820-20IMG_2290.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The bikes will be a convenience for students needing to get from one side of the campus to another.
