\"\"<\/a>Wear your patriotic colors and join Southern Arkansas University\u2019s annual Veterans Day tribute from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.<\/p>\n

The event will be held at the Reynolds Center, Grand Hall, on the University campus.<\/p>\n

The SAU President\u2019s Ambassadors will provide shuttle services from the parking area as needed.<\/p>\n

Scheduled to speak at the tribute is SAU President Dr. Trey Berry.<\/p>\n

Colors will be posted and retired by the 1-153 Infantry Battalion Color Guard from Hope, Arkansas.<\/p>\n

Inspiring entertainment will be provided by talented SAU students.<\/p>\n

Keely Stofer will play the National Anthem on the Oboe.<\/p>\n

SAU student Devin Sipes, of the SAU Band, will perform \u201cTaps.\u201d The SAU Brass Quintet will perform the \u201cArmed Forces Salute.\u201d The members of the Brass Quintet are: Devin Sipes, Trumpet; Sarah Fincher, Trumpet; Renee Jorgensen, Horn; Raechel Settlemoir, Trombone; and Cyrus Tucker, Tuba.<\/p>\n

Encore, a singing and dancing troupe at Southern Arkansas University, will perform as well as soloist Dalicia Torrence, a freshman at SAU majoring in business and a member of the choir.<\/p>\n

A lunch reception will follow the program.<\/p>\n
