\"Dr<\/a>The Heritage Singers and Chamber Singers of Southern Arkansas University will present their spring concert, \u201cWhat\u2019s In a Name?\u201d on Thursday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of Central Baptist Church, Magnolia.<\/p>\n

Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n

The concert gets its title from the selection of works to be performed by the choirs. Every setting identifies a specific person, whether a Biblical character like Moses or Daniel, someone described in a song setting like Stephen Foster\u2019s \u201cI dream of Jeanie with the light brown hair,\u201d or an arrangement of the Irish folk song, \u201cAnnie Laurie.\u201d\"SAU<\/a><\/p>\n

The evening\u2019s music will range from a Renaissance motet by Palestrina to a 20th century composition by Egil Hovland that depicts the New Testament story of the conversion of Saul.<\/p>\n
