MAGNOLIA—- The Southern Arkansas University Student Activities Board and \u201cOur Wildlife Friends\u201d will be hosting the Tom Ulrich Wildlife Presentation at 7 p.m., Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 in the Foundation Hall of the Donald W. Reynolds Campus and Community Center.<\/p>\n
Ulrich, a wildlife photographer from West Glacier, Mont., will present \u201cLiving Wild with Tom Ulrich.\u201d This program will highlight his world travels in 2007 including Costa Rica, all of North America and Hawaii.<\/p>\n
Freelancing since 1975, Tom Ulrich has had many of his 600,000 plus transparencies published in many magazines and other publications such as \u201cNational Wildlife,\u201d \u201cAudubon,\u201d \u201cOutdoor Oklahoma,\u201d \u201cSierra,\u201d \u201cAmerican Hunter,\u201d \u201cRanger Rick,\u201d \u201cAlaska,\u201d \u201cNational Geographic,\u201d \u201cMontana Outdoors,\u201d \u201cLife\u201d and many others. He has also published six nature books: \u201cMammals of the Canadian Rockies,\u201d \u201cBirds of the Canadian Rockies,\u201d \u201cMammals of the Northern Rockies,\u201d \u201cBirds of the Northern Rockies,\u201d \u201cOnce Upon a Frame\u201d and \u201cPhoto Pantanal.\u201d Ulrich has received many awards including the mammal behavior category international wildlife photographer of the year in 1987. He is also the winner of multiple national wildlife photo contests<\/p>\n
