Later that evening, members of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority traveled with members of Sutton\u2019s fraternity, Phi Lambda Chi, to attend a football game at Sutton\u2019s high school alma matter, Redwater High School, for more donations. The group raised $820 in that effort.<\/p>\n<p>Sutton, a senior who is seeking a degree in general business, is now in Houston where he is undergoing multiple chemotherapy sessions at The University of Texas M D Anderson Cancer Center. Sutton said he appreciates the efforts being made by the organizations to help him.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to other efforts, white bracelets bearing the phrase, \u201cMakes Me Stronger,\u201d are also being sold around campus for $2 each.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate all the help we can get and my family appreciates everyone in Magnolia keeping us in their prayers,\u201d said Sutton in a phone interview.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the cost of medical bills, Sutton and his family also have to pay for an apartment in Houston while he undergoes his treatments.
