{"id":449,"date":"2007-10-26T10:10:37","date_gmt":"2007-10-26T15:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.southernarkansasuniversity.info\/academics\/scholarships\/2007\/10\/kayleigh-collins-crowned-miss-sau-2008\/449\/"},"modified":"2007-10-26T10:10:37","modified_gmt":"2007-10-26T15:10:37","slug":"kayleigh-collins-crowned-miss-sau-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/2007\/kayleigh-collins-crowned-miss-sau-2008\/","title":{"rendered":"Kayleigh Collins crowned Miss SAU 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2007\/10\/miss-sau-2008-kayleigh-collins-web.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[pics449]\" title=\"miss-sau-2008-kayleigh-collins-web.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/files\/2007\/10\/miss-sau-2008-kayleigh-collins-web-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"miss-sau-2008-kayleigh-collins-web.jpg\" class=\"imageframe imgalignleft\" height=\"100\" width=\"78\" \/><\/a>MAGNOLIA, Ark. \u2014 Kayleigh Collins of Hope, Ark., was crowned as the 2008 Miss SAU on Thursday night in Harton Theatre on the University campus.<\/p>\n<p>The title means Collins will receive two semesters of tuition at SAU, represent the University at various functions, and will secure a spot for her to compete at the Miss Arkansas pageant this July in Hot Springs, Arkansas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an honor and it will be an honor to represent SAU this year,\u201d said Collins moments after being crowned.<\/p>\n<p>This was the first pageant for Collins, a sophomore majoring in finance.
