The facility will house not only the team\u2019s locker room and coaches\u2019 offices, but it will also provide public restrooms, press boxes, a ticket booth, and a concession stand for the two-field complex. Lights will also be constructed on the main field.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been designed by CADM architects. Major construction is expected to begin this summer with a completion date before the opening of the 2016 softball season.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have come a long way from just a few years ago when we were playing softball off-campus at a field owned by the city of Magnolia,\u201d said SAU President Dr. David Rankin. \u201cNow we have two nice softball fields with large, modern batting cages.
