Award-winning blues artist DieDra and the Ruff Pro Band will perform at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, in the Southern Arkansas University Reynolds Center.<\/p>\n
The public is encouraged to attend, and admission is free.\u00a0 Hot chocolate and coffee will be served during the concert, courtesy of the Student Activities Board.<\/p>\n
The band is performing throughout the country to give back to veterans. \u201cI love Veterans and the only gift I have to give back for their sacrifices is my voice,\u201d said Ruff.<\/p>\n
Ruff started her career in 2008, after the release of her debut album \u201cOvercoming Hurdles.\u201d Ruff\u2019s husband, Keithen, is the band\u2019s producer and advisor. He is also credited with seeing talent in her and deciding she needed a band.<\/p>\n
Ruff and her band have headlined blues festivals across the country.<\/p>\n
